The square is part of the queue-room

Arrive by a calmer approach if you can. Leave before Friday prayer crowds if the week demands it. Heat on the facade is the first gallery; it has no shade mercy at noon.

8 August 2026. Calmer approach than the square’s noon. Screening without theatre. Ground floor sculpture while the eye was greedy. A closed wing named by staff as a fact, not a conspiracy. Upstairs for the small register, not “if there is time.” No hunt for an object the internet still places here out of habit. Exit at 11:40 with one statue still describable. We did not add GEM. We did not add the plateau. The salmon facade is a house. Finish the house.

The raid version arrives after Giza, hunts a mask, skips upstairs, argues at the bottle, photographs captions, and leaves with heat and no sentence. Tahrir then becomes “crowded and old” in the mouth. It was crowded and old and still a denser archaeological machine than most countries can hold. The raid was the defect.

Friday and the square

Civic weather around the museum is not a footnote. If the week is Friday, confirm. If the square is a selfie errand, it will steal the morning. Heat on the facade is the first gallery. Give it an early hour or give it up.
